Automation - Should you or Shouldnt you Consider it?

Everyone has different expectations about cash automation and how it can effect their cash operations. Because everyone’s process is different there are only so many fair assumptions we can make about what to expect. Here are some reasons why you should or shouldn’t consider automating your cash operations.

You should consider Automation if you:
    • Accept cash and create and settle multiple tills daily
    • Need better visibility of cash inventories
    • Need to consolidate information and reporting about cash activities
    • Experiencing cash inventory shrinkage
    • Have accountability gaps in your processes
    • Have employee hours dedicated to counting cash
    • Want to reduce fees and operating costs from your cash processes
Maybe you shouldn’t consider automation if you:
    • Don’t use much or any cash in your operations
    • Manage only 5 for fewer cash tills per day

Automation has dramatically changed the banking industry over the past two decades and continues to do so. The same phenomenon is occurring in the retail world; however, many zoos and aquariums have yet to take a good look or become educated on the benefits and savings associated with cash automation. If you’re interested in cutting costs and saving money, it might be worth looking at.
